Golfsmith Jetstream - Iron Clubheads
Like the Jetstream fairway wood heads, the iron head faces feature a strong S-290 steel with a super thin 1.9mm thickness. The deep undercut cavity removes mass that is strategically placed in the heel and toe to improve stability.
Player testing results revealed that the S-290 received more votes for its soft, hot feel than other super strong steels that felt harsh to middle handicap players who prefer a soft feel.
The beveled rear trailing edge on the sole provides clean contact and still allows for a wide sole to position the center of gravity back from the face. Chrome plating ensures long-lasting rich looks.
