Golf Penalty Shots Golf Penalty Shots
Penalty Shots can seriously damage your score so make sure you do not hit your ball out of bounds or in a water hazard. We compiled a list of Golf Shots you will definitely want to avoid because there are many factors that you need to consider.

The first shot you take on each Hole is called the Tee-Shot or the Drive. For this shot, distance is one of the most important things. You need to hit your ball as close to the Green as possible. For a Par-Three Hole, it is a lot easier since the distance between the Tee-box and the Hole is small - only about 90-230 yards, compared to the Par-Four and Par-Five. From the Tee-Box, you go either directly to the Green, Fairway or, if you are unlucky, a Hazard. For closer Shots to the Green, you can make a Pitch Shot or a Chip Shot. If you end up in a bunker you will have to make a Bunker Shot. For the rough or other tough lies you will have to be creative.
