The first shot you take on each Hole is called the Tee-Shot or the Drive. For this shot, distance is one of the most important things. You need to hit your ball as close to the Green as possible. For a Par-Three Hole, it is a lot easier since the distance between the Tee-box and the Hole is small - only about 90-230 yards, compared to the Par-Four and Par-Five. From the Tee-Box, you go either directly to the Green, Fairway or, if you are unlucky, a Hazard. For closer Shots to the Green, you can make a Pitch Shot or a Chip Shot. If you end up in a bunker you will have to make a Bunker Shot. For the rough or other tough lies you will have to be creative.
