Members at Riverside Country Club and homeowners at Riverside Estates in Lanett, Ala. can now enjoy the Greater Valley Area’s first 18-hole golf course.
The par 71 course, which opened earlier this month, was originally a nine-hole course until it is was renovated, redesigned and replanted by Ken Ezell of CEC Golf Design Group out of Deland, Fla. Ezell not only renovated the existing nine holes, but also added nine new holes which wind through large, scenic lots at Riverside Estates, an idyllic resort inspired golf course community in Lanett. All of the greens were also reconstructed to meet USGA regulations.
Riverside Golf and Country Club, located on Country Club Road is a full service country club that offers members and guests year-round golf, tennis, a dining room and seasonal swimming. The Club also recently renovated its clubhouse making it an ideal location for special events, weddings or parties.

Homes at Riverside Estates offer luxurious features and amenities homeowners desire, with flexible plans that meet the needs of today’s family. With 101 of the 141 lots on the golf course, homeowners are guaranteed a prime choice of golf course real estate. Priced from the high $200s, homeowners have a choice of 18 pre-approved home plans to choose from. Custom designs are also welcome, but must be approved by an architectural review board.
