Workshop For Local Golf Doctors
THURSDAY, 27 AUGUST 2009
Submitted By: Mariangela Silvestre
Dr. George C Win, from United Multi-Care Health Center (UMC) is helping golf lovers improve their game and experience pain free golf all year long. “Golf is a very physically demanding sport, yet we see it treated as a leisure weekend activity. The level of muscle activity equates golf with such sports as football, ice-hockey and martial arts. The difference is that other athletes outside of golf include conditioning as an integral part of their preparation before they play. No golfer can afford to ignore a golf specific fitness and conditioning program. That’s why we put together this workshop,” says Dr. Win.
The workshop will be a three part series that will begin Wednesday, August 26th at the Mountain Meadows Golf Course Clubhouse. The workshop will be from 6:30pm to 8pm. Admission to the workshop is Free.
Dr. Win comments, “Too often I see golfers end up taking pain killers or having to stop playing the game they love so much, all because of pain from golf. That’s why our main goal is to prevent injuries while better preparing golfers to withstand the high demands of a golf swing. The results that we see have been very eye opening. Not only are patients feeling better but they are playing better golf than ever!”
Dr. George C Win is one of the chiropractors in the United Multi-Care Health Center. United Multi-Care Health Center wants to help you play better, have more fun and stay injury-free. Whether you have been playing for 30 days or 30 years, their doctors team specializes in helping you prevent injury, recover from injury faster and enhance your performance.
