Universal Surveillance Systems (USS Corporation) is set to host their Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament Sunday, June 14, 2009 at the Pacific Palms Resort and Golf located in the City of Industry, CA. All proceeds from the tournament will go to benefit the City of Hope Pediatric Cancer Research Center.
The charity golf tournament will be attended by numerous Loss Prevention and Security professionals from major retailers across the country. “We are looking forward to a fulfilling day of networking and charitable giving,” says Rod Holm, VP Business Development, USS Corporation. “Unfortunately, pediatric cancer is a devastating reality to many families and the team of scientists at City of Hope needs all our help to further their cancer research to develop new therapies and treatments to ease these children’s suffering.”
USS Corporation is dedicated and committed to improving the lives of children who are less fortunate – it is this commitment that is the driving force behind this golf event. “I believe it our duty as active members of the community to give back and do what we can to help others in need. It is my honor and privilege to put on an event that not only benefits such a worthy organization as the City of Hope, but also allows members of the Loss Prevention community the opportunity to give back as well,” explains Adel Sayegh, President & CEO, USS Corporation.
To date USS Corporation has donated more than $200,000 to charities nationally to improve the lives of children. In addition, USS Corporation is an active member of the community and their employees regularly volunteer at local food banks, hospitals and homeless shelters within the local community.
