Seville, Spain - New Zealand’s bet Gareth Paddison did not disappoint his fans in the recently concluded Spanish Open in Seville. Paddison finished in a five - under 67 during the third round to improve 25 places into the 20th ahead of the last round.
He was eight shots behind the home favorite, Ignacio Garrido. Australia’s Peter Fowler positioned himself in the sixth place, following a shot of 70.
With a sudden death playoff between Garrido and Ireland’s Peter Lawrie at the Spanish Open yesterday, Lawrie claimed his maiden European Tour title after coming back from his five-stroke behind Garrido.
