Greg Snow Dominates Winston Churchill Cup

Thika, Kenya - Golfer of the Year Greg Snow claimed the Winston Churchill Cup held at Thika Sports Club, after scoring a combination with a two-round total of one under par. The Muthaiga player shot his way to winning the cup with one - under 71 and level par 72 to score a total of 143 during the game.
Snow dominated the Churchill Cup, his major event after the Africa Zone Six Championship in Ndola, Zambia. Snow’s colleague from the national team, Ganeey Giddie, returned rounds of 75 and 72 for a two-round total of 147.
Local player Frank Kaniaru finished third with 148, while national team captain Francis Kimani got the fourth place with 149. Eldoret’s Ernest Mutema settled in at the fifth place.
The subsidiary event of the Churchill Cup entitled Butterfly Freedom Class showcased another Thika player, Ndiga Kithae. He scored a net 72 to win two shots ahead of his rival, Patrick Karani. Zack Muigai won the Butterfly Freedom Class with 73 net.
