Young and gifted golfers will now have a chance to hone their talents by earning a foundation degree in tournament golf.
The educational program will be offered starting this year at the European Tournament Golf Academy, Duchy College, a branch of Plymouth University.
The academy will accept a total of 24 (males and females) future tour playing professionals. The young golfers will get the opportunity to develop their techniques and at the same time become well-oriented with the various aspects of the tournament scene.
The program curriculum includes course management, technique development, personal management, sports psychology and media relation, and ample time for golfers to participate in competitive plays.
