Four Members Join Manitoba Golf Hall of Fame

Four new members were added in the Manitoba Golf Hall of Fame and Museum, namely Stan Homenuik, Jim Collins, Ralph Bagley and Ed Dearden.
Homenuik and Collins were inducted in the athlete category, while Bagley and Dearden were included in the builder category. Bagley and Dearden are journalists who rendered more than 50 years covering the sport both in print and on radio.
As for Homenuik, he made name in the sport by winning the Manitoba PGA Championship in 1978. In 1985, he bagged the title for MPGA Player of the year.
Meanwhile, Collins is a pro whose career span more than 37 years, during which he won 5 Manitoba PGA senior Championships. He was named Manitoba PGA Player of the Year for three years, namely in 1963, 1965 and 1977.
