Vaughn Named Head Coach of Penn's New Golf Program

Director of golf Francis Vaughn was recently named the head coach of the University of Pennsylvania newly restructured its golf program. Vaughn will be in charge of both the men's and women's team with Chad Perman as an assistant coach.
This is not Vaughn's first time to coach the team back in 1996. He coached the men's team and had led the team to the Ivy League title in 1998. As for the women's team, Vaughn has been their head coach since their foundation in 2000.
Meanwhile, Perman played under Vaughn's tutelage in 2000 until 2003. He was named captain of the team during his senior year and was a Ping All-Regional selection. Perman's achievement as a golf player includes a three time All-Ivy League selection and an All-American Scholar during his junior and senior years.
