Golf Course Mascot Still Missing
MONDAY, 30 JULY 2007
The Laurel View Country Club is still looking for the missing golf course mascot, Fly. The mascot disappeared last July 13th after he was frightened by fireworks during the company bash.
Since Fly disappeared game had been less frequent at Laurel View. But despite the passing of weeks the golf club members are still harboring hopes that their mascot will be found.
"There have been some sightings of him in Hamden, and we've been trying to get him back to Laurel View. Back to his family and friends," says club member Ed Grant.
The country club is currently offering a humble reward of $500 for the mascot's safe return. The club also revealed that the mascot responds when his name "Fly" is called.
