Lewes Golf Club is holding free golf coaching taster sessions for beginners on the June 30 and August 18 from 1pm-5pm. The sessions are open to adults and to book a lesson, please telephone the club on 483823.
Free Golf Coaching is an English Golf Union (EGU)/English Ladies' Golf Association (ELGA) initiative, which has been developed to help people get into golf.
Beginners of any age, gender or background that want to experience golf for the first time can simply register with a participating venue and receive a free golf coaching taster session with a PGA Professional.
Golf balls and clubs are provided free of charge and participants all receive information on a variety of initiatives aimed at continuing involvement in golf.
The free Golf Coaching campaign has now been running for a number of years and has introduced thousands of beginners to golf and golf clubs, detailed below are some of the main findings from the 2006 participant questionnaire.
