Woods Awarded Anew

The Golf Writers Association of America awarded Tiger Woods yesterday the Charlie Bartlett Award for his work in the foundation named after him. The world's number one golfer said he is grateful for the award and is proud for the work that the Tiger Woods Foundation has accomplished.
Wood's established the foundation in 1996 along with his late father after he turned pro. It is based in Anaheim, CA where students can join an after-school program on engineering, robotics, and forensic science. All in all, the foundation has been able to help more than 10 million children and have given more than $30 million in grants so far.
