LPGA to Open Doors for Amateurs |

The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has recently announced that they are now offering a sponsor exemption to the US Women's Amateur champion if the event "is staged in her home state." However, the exemption is only granted if the amateur champion is still an amateur at the time of the event, and that the offer would not lessen playing opportunities for LPGA players.
