Woods Hits Four-Straight Bogeys at Firestone
SUNDAY, 27 AUGUST 2006
After winning his 12th career major at Medinah last week, Tiger Woods is seemingly out of his usual winning form this week at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at the Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. Stewart Cink is currently at the driver's seat with a 9-under while Woods is tied with Davis Love III and Paul Casey at second with an 8-under.
Cink has the chance to regain his crown at Firestone where he was champion in 2004. But he will surely face a tough competition at the last round today in a tournament where Woods is the defending champion. That is if Woods does not repeat his dismal performance yesterday wherein he four straight bogeys.
The tournament concludes today with its fourth and final round. We will be posting an update as soon as a champion is announced.
