What should You Do to Improve Your Game?
THURSDAY, 24 AUGUST 2006
Every golfer has at one point in his or her life fantasized about becoming as great as Tiger Woods. But a lot of them spend most of their time just daydreaming about it or wondering how they can improve their game further. What they didn't know is that improvement is not achieved by mere visualization but by tons and tons of practice. This is the advice given by the PGA's Director of Instruction Rick Martino for his golf tips this week.
Aside from the determination to improve and the enthusiasm for practice, golfers should also seek the advice of a PGA Professional, Martino said. The PGA Professional can then analyze a golfer's game and look for ways to improve the latter's weak spots. With the obstacles overcome, the golfer can then expect to see a difference in how he or she played the game before and after seeking a professional's advice.
