Learn How to Focus on Your Game Better
THURSDAY, 29 JUNE 2006
In his golf tips for this week at the PGA's website, Rick Martino shows you how to prevent yourself from getting distracted and to focus on your game.
Martino gives two prime examples of golfers who were known for their ability to focus solely on hitting the shot. First he presents the legendary golfer Ben Hogan who tried to distance himself from other golfers in order for him to concentrate on the game better.
But the PGA's Director of Instruction says that you need not go to such extreme lengths if you want to focus better. He gives an example of Lee Trevino who goes into a level of intense concentration in several stages. Trevino likes to joke around on his way to the ball, but when it is already his turn to make the shot, the joking stops and he goes on to study closely how to make his shot.
So if you think you need help on how to concentrate on your game better, check out Rick Martino’s interesting article at www.pga.com.
