Golf Clubs - Shaft Size

• Height
  First, determine your Golf Cub's Lie which is the angle the club head extends from the shaft. Imagine standing in front of a giant clock as you hold your Golf Club. For a normal or flat lie, the club should come in nine or ten o'clock. If your Club is in this angle, the size of the Golf Club is right for your height.
  
  
• Arm Length
  With your arms at your sides, try to measure the distance between the tip of your middle finger and the ground. The distance determines the length of your Golf club.
  
  
• Swing Speed
  How hard you swing determines the kind of Golf Club Shaft you should have. For pros, they often require a shaft designed stiff or with extra-stiff, ones that has least flexibility or whip as they swing. For regular Golfers, shafts with regular flex are more popular. These kinds are usually made either out of graphite or steel. If you have a slow swing, a more flexible shaft will help you get more distance.
