TIP : A smooth swing in which the clubface strikes the ball and ground at the same time will allow you to spin the golf ball.

There is actually no special technique to get a spin. You just hit it in solid and in order to do that, the leading edge must brush the grass.

A better way of approch is to first hit the ball then the turf, the club face should always hit the ball first, try placing a tee or another golf ball to create a point of reference, the pitchmark will reveal if you are hitting it correct. Good luck.

Putting maximum spin on a wedge shot requires. Specifically, the ball must be sitting and lying cleanly, with little or no grass behind it. The more of the ball's surface that is exposed to the clubface, the more it will spin.
