Hi Seniors! I want to ask one simple question from the pros..
"Is it necessary to follow the basics of golf training strictly as it is told? I mean, so much is said for each aspect of golf training, that it seems it is a MUST to follow it that way. For example, if one is not comfortable with one locking fingers while griping the club, is it ok not to lock them? Or, lets say I can take a hit while keeping my knees bent, is it ok to keep them straight? Similarly, is it necessary to first practice hits on a Range rather than starting game on the course?
Please guide me, because all those 'trained' people around me keep giving me loads of advices, and I am really confused!!!!

Thanks!

I think you must follow the basic steps. It is required to follow the basic first before you go and learn the harder level. You must have a self discipline when playing golf. All the rules must be follow and the basic is very important in playing golf.Just try this online golf lesson: http://www.abc-of-golf.com/beginners-golf/golf-lesson.asp
