Golfers seem to be very flexible as they twist their bodies while they play. How do they maintain such flexibility?

By undertaking daily stretching exercises which are 'core biased.' The older one gets the more important such becomes!  I learned such exercises by attending 'Body Balance' classes run by my local gym 'LA Fitness' (UK). Body balance is a combination of both yoga and t'ai chi. Most amateur golfers basically only swish their arms to and fro, but even the strongest golfer in the world could achieve no more than 70% of his (or her) potential hitting distance by simply so doing.

Like all international Long Drive competitors I sometimes reach my maximum distance capacity by staying flexible and massively loading my core (particularly my lower back), by coiling into a full swing. But, utilising one's immense core power, and thereby swinging so fast, one must always first thoroughly warm up as it is so easy to injur oneself, and injuries often take months to get over!

"Compromise is a language of the Devil." (Chariots of Fire).
