Try to go to Hawaii Kai Golf Course, Prince Resorts, Makaha Resort & Golf Club, Ko'olau Golf Course, Waikele Golf Club, Coral Creek Golf Course & Pearl Country Club. Those are my recommendable places. Check it out.

Although I haven't been to Hawaii, heard that golf aficionados should check out Makaha West in Oahu. I read it once in Golf Digest being listed as one of the best places to play.

Makaha Resort & Golf Club, Oahu

A classic course requires a variety of shots and just about every club in your bag. The 18 Hole, par 72, championship golf course stretches 7,077 yards from the "tips", and holds a U.S.G.A. rating of 73.2, challenging both professionals and amateurs alike.

From the looks of it, definitely a must for golf enthusiasts visiting Hawaii! If I get a chance to visit the islands, this place will surely be on top of my list.

Hey, I have this friend who has been bragging about having played in Ka'anapali in Maui. He told me it's a Trent Jones, Sr. course and just like most courses designed by him, it has large contoured greens. Was the place just as great as how my friend describes it?
