Cleveland Golf, founded in 1979 by namesake Roger Cleveland, originally produced exquisite replicas of clasic golf clubs from the 1940's and 1950's. Today, the company is regarded as one of the forerunners in product innovation and produces winning equipment used on all of the competitive tours worldwide.

The company has experienced extraordinary growth, since its acquisition by Skis Rossignol, S.A. in 1990. In 1997 the appointment of Greg Hopkins as president signaled a major move toward product line expansion and increasing visibility in the marketplace. Cleveland Golf has more than 300 employees in its Cypress, California headquarters, a national sales force of 65, as well as 30 international distributors worldwide. Cleveland Golf is heavily involved in collegiate golf, with sponsorship of six men's events and commitment to a full-time college golf representative. The company also is title sponsor of two annual father-son tournaments. On the PGA Tour Cleveland Golf is represented by: 2001 PGA Champion David Toms, 2000 Masters winner Vijay Singh, Bob Estes, Joe Durant, Jerry Kelly, Andrew Magee, Steve Flesch and many others. Dignitaries for the company include Lord Byron Nelson and Gary Koch.
